It’s not only the content that tells a story. For me, the design of a book is necessary and an important part of the understanding of the hole story.
Altes Medium neu durchdacht
Jedes Buch besteht aus denselben Komponenten. Diese neu zu denken und weiter zu entwickeln war Kern der Umsetzung.
Each book consists of the same components that have been re-thought and further developed. This was the core of the implementation.
Jede Seite von Hand genäht
Um maximale Gestaltungsfreiheit zu erlangen, wurde die erste Kleinauflage von Hand gefertigt. Im Buch „Arsch ohne Profil“ wurden fünf verschiedene nachhaltige Papiere verwendet. Das "flexible Inhaltsverzeichnis" ist nur eines der kleinen Raffinessen dieses Buches.
In order to achieve the maximum of design freedom, the first small edition was produced by hand. In the book „Arsch ohne Profil“ („Ass without profile“) five different sustainable papers were used and the „flexible index“ is just one of the little details.
